Adapting to Darkness
Hi, old friend,
cover me in cloud.
Let the fog delve deep
beneath my flesh for 623
is all I know,
certainly,
when attached to fray.
It's the robotic, supersonic, puerile
behaviour that leads me
to temptation or an instantaneous rejection.
Last time I checked
it's not the nadir
and I am still loquacious
in my manner and my drive.
Immolate my smile
in a style most prolific
for there is too much time
on our hands.
Hi, old friend,
I will try to disguise
the way in which I crave,
cover me in cloud.
