Punishment

As she begins to regain conciousness the smell of blood and sweat in the air fill her nostrils
Her throat curls tight making her gag causing searing pain to rip through her stomach muscles as they convulse
Frozen in fear she gulps down a scream, listening intently as tears flow down her cheeks
The silence telling her she is alone
How could she have been so careless and stupid she thought
She should have known it would enrage him
The cold hard floor under her in the pitch black room confirms her punishment isn't over
Her body begins to tremble uncontrollably
He will return continuing until he is satisfied she has learnt her lesson
Wincing through raggid breaths she pulls her legs up wrapping her arms around them tightly until she is curled up in the fetal position
All she can do is wait until he is ready ro return, hoping and praying he is done
The door opens, her eyes fly open, gasping for breath as she sits up
Feeling the sweat drenched sheets against her skin as she looks around ghe room
Once again her punishment had haunted her sleep in it's endless nightmare
