I can be such a jerk.  
Looking at this from an objective
perspective.
I-
Watch me stutter.
-I tend to be the over critical
one and the
over sensitive one
and, if I am honest, a little ungrateful.
You aren't perfect
but I genuinely do care
and I'd hate to be quickly replaced
for my destructive heart,
at least my head is in it.
If I could tell you I think you're cooler than me.
I mean, I am the egg white. Yes, I make a nice meringue
but you're an absolute delight with untoasted soldiers.
I fall into darkness when your skin is on mine
but I am only a young one. I still need time
to think about this irrationally, with too much passion  
and over thought. I can't afford
to be sensible  
but if you were the Earth, well,
I'd want to be a satellite.
