2020 is upon us, tell me, what do you see?
Did 2019 help improve your visual acuity?
Can next year really be a fresh start anew?
Do you think your resolutions will come true?
What will you do differently this upcoming year?
What will you do to minimize your grieving tears?
Will you be able to conquer your hindering fears?
Will you be able to manually shift those gears?
Forget your peers, show & prove it to yourself
Take little baby steps the size of Santa's elves
Make moves in stealth; don't broadcast it all
For if you do, people will plot your downfall
Crawl before you walk and do minimal talking
Then once you can walk, progress to running
There may be struggling during your marathon
Just keep on pushing on & remaining strong
