To Calligraphee

”I wonder what it would take to break the silence of your mind”

may i?
would you give me a moment of your time?
hear me with your hammer and a wedge
let me take you to the formidable poet’s edge.
words, twisted and released…nothing greater than said.
look and seek for they are well hid.
blow by blow the hammer does set.
at that point, where the wedge is met
the simplest of cracks, well, it begins to be formed,
please, please don’t be alarmed…
your amazement is about to be transformed.
the whisper and the hush
as a wand, his glove, he waves as a white brush
he stands at attention, his black attire, dress
for it is your mind that he seeks to address.
fantasy and whim
for he sees within…
your mind as it mills
imagery that is filled.
is that not what your mind attest?
is this not your quest?

“I always wondered what it would be like to make love to a mime”.
