about everything
she looks through
cracks of splintered wood
would it have changed perspective
the anger
to know the truth
of who he is

she stares through the splinters
into his icy blue eyes
wondering how she got here
how he got here
how they got here
just the mention of him
haunts
does she not deserve peace
in her heart
not be made to feel guilty
she fell in love with a man
who became a monster
someone who still feels
justified
to try to break down
the walls
he created
about everything
she looks through
cracks of splintered wood
would it have changed perspective
the anger
to know the truth

she stares through the splinters
