Better man

In all the years ive been alive'
Havent found  the answers
 or even how
to ask the big man why,

is it where ive been,
could it be ive seen so much sin
And the heartach
ive drug myself  through.
Time after time, pain on top of pain
After i almost gave up  everything.
Then he led me to you.

Ain it Funny
 how a man
can think hes got it all figured out,
when truth is he knows nothing about
, the things you just cant see,
until you see them on your own,
or that you know hell
until  you  been there all alone

    You came and you changed.
 All that i once knew
 Helped my mind see
 And pulled my heart through.
 Stood me up
and made me what i am
Thanks to you babe...  Im a better man.

Aint it funny
how time dont wait
 for you to stand around,
 yet theres a spot
waiting on you somewhere in the ground,
And all that we all have
 to hold
is what weve seen or have been told
and pray that we get to see
Our little babies grow old.

You came and you changed.
 All that i once knew
 Helped my mind see
 And pulled my heart through.
 Stood me up
and made me what i am
Thanks to you son...  Im a better man.

It sure is funny
Even after all the mistakes I've made, trying to get it right,
lord knows I didnt
until i cried out to Him that  night.
And now looking at my little boys
and my pretty  wife,
I know I only have HIM to thank
for all the good that's in my life....

You came and you changed.
 All that i once knew
 Helped my mind see
 And pulled my heart through.
Stood me up and made me
 what i am
All thanks to you God ...
Im a better man.

Im a better man...
