Songbird - Songs Like Snowflakes Melting

"How is your hair perfect? Chrysalis? Are you even awake? ...How did she get her hair done already?" I asked Winter Sunshine, shaking her sleepy older teen sister's shoulder.  She was essentially sleeping sitting against the wall, where she fell asleep deciding what to do next.

"I dunno. I think she just rolled out of bed like that." Winter Sunshine said, laughing.

"So I guess we'll just let her finish waking up in the dining room? I guess with hair like that she can afford to get up her way."

I shook my head and went back to my kitchen rituals.

Songbird has written hundreds of songs, each played only once. Or is it thousands of songs? Perhaps they are pivotal so they are caught ahold of.

They linger, are recorded; they are practiced, but most are just like overflow of glory. How is this possible? As soon as you find out, tell me! It's not easy to do but she proves it's doable.

You do that for me and I can turn around and do what my daughter does. Or can I? Can you? When you sit in front of a stage with her, talking, she will prompt you to write with her and strum on her acoustic guitar for you, getting you to groove your own melody.  Then she'll sing it with you or have you sing while she plays.

When she was still under our roof I remember how she would wake up to find poetry and songs she forgot writing the night before. She's very smart but her brain works in unusual ways. Don't expect her to remember everything she takes with her.

She is an ever-flowing fount of creativity. Novel idea, painted art, and all. You never know what she'll come up with next!

When she becomes a published artist you will get another product. A pop music product. It may or may not make you cry as have many of her live songs have done for others, but maybe you will. Be sure to keep up with us and I will be sure to toot that horn.
