for all
the unfathomable
human death
and destruction
the misery
and suffering
of life
upon
and throughout
the history
of this
our
precious world
for all
the equally
unfathomable
beauty
and mystery
the love
and wonderment
of divine
grace
and magic
the agony
and empathy
compassion
and ecstasy
also found
upon
and throughout
our living
conscious
mother earth
my heart
still breaks
my soul
still aches
and grieves
so deeply
at times
yet acceptingly
in silent
reflective peace
for
and at
the increasingly
uncertain potential
of either
the sudden
ultimate demise
or
the ongoing
continued
survival
of these
still
even so
my acceptance
and peace
of mind
each rest
at ease
transcendently
beyond
the self
destructive
egoic mind
greed
and hand
of mankinds
relentless insanities
anchored securely
in my
steadfast
ever deepening
personal faith
in the
sublime
perfect sanity
innate within
the sacred
wholeness
of it
all

Thank you 'New Beginnings'! I just wrote this late last night & it all just kinda came suddenly flooding out, like some kind of spontaneous, subconscious, toxic purge, after having watched a few too many You Tube videos all last evening, which collectively had overwhelmed me with all the increasing, chaos & collective, global, human insanities of violence, govt. protests, genocides, human suffering, global warming, impeachment, etc. & on & on, seemingly ever increasing without end (!!!), as a reflective meditation, which somehow brought me into a place of calmer, inner peace, which seemed to succeed in counter-balancing (at least to some degree!) all that global human, self-destructive madness & insanity!
It's kind of funny, unusual (& cool too), that out of all the hundreds of poems I've submitted here on DUP over the past 7 or 8 years (?), this is the first & only one, to which I've received two comments, before I had finished submitting it, because right when I finished tweaking & revising it's original first draft for the last time & submitted it, there was Your & one other response comment waiting for me just below it!!!
So Thanks for that most unexpected, pleasant surprise & for your wonderful feedback! I was very happy & honored, to hear you liked it & that it resonated with you in such a relatable way!!! I hope you'll have a very Happy, wonderful (& warm!) Christmas!
