the waltz of morrigan
oh how I would like the dance to begin...
the bow drawn across the strings...
the violins and haunting of the cello’s ring..
to take the softness of your hand..
to witness the lady
the tapping on wooden floor
the glow from the chandelier..
how eloquent the dances of days gone bye...
the sparkle in your blue…
would that hue be to this mood...?
how, flowing the gown..
the low cut…of your maidenhood.
curves and beauty…just as you should.
the feather touch of my hand, upon your glove..
the imagination of what were to lay below..
the touch of skin forbidden yet so..
is not this the way it all should go.
hidden behind your mask
snow white…and feathers a float..
the sparkle of sequins...reflecting
as the grand march begins...the music's resurrecting
the cellos sing so low
how the romance does the song go..
round and round
in the three four of a waltz's pattern
as to be drifting
upon the rings of Saturn.
cometh the moon so full
and as the quartet takes a moments lull
may I be so brazen
to steal you away to the maze of an ancient garden...?
the bow drawn across the strings...
the violins and haunting of the cello’s ring..
to take the softness of your hand..
to witness the lady
the tapping on wooden floor
the glow from the chandelier..
how eloquent the dances of days gone bye...
the sparkle in your blue…
would that hue be to this mood...?
how, flowing the gown..

curves and beauty…just as you should.
