I am lying alone
I am about to die
No one is near
No one will cry
I have my regrets
I have such sorrow
No more my life
No more tomorrow
I loved you hard
I loved them deep
I wasn't enough
I wasn't to keep
About to be gone
About to decease
No chance for sorry
No chance for peace
I will die alone
I will not embrace
Your wonderful arms

You broke me down

Laugh and the world laughs with you; weep and you weep alone. They say that we wake up to live another day; not to know we get closer to death everyday we live. Great write and very pointed.

How true that is. Although, personally, I prefer it that way. I tend to grieve in the car, or the shower...somewhere I will not be seen.

some say it is the worse thing that could ever happen to a person - like the man who flips his car and burns to death inside - did he get to say he loved the person he loved the most - who knows - good points all throughout this piece - well done - ^v^

It is one thing if the man who might not have had a chance to say it, knows that he loved and was loved. It is another if someone is in the process of dying, which can take days or weeks, and there is no one there. You are left alone with your thoughts and regrets. To me, that is a bigger fear.

We do not live another day; were dying another day. It always seems that we get closer to the absolute. As I posted before about being alone. I can see what you mean after this comment. I was the opposite. When I was in a coma that when the weak found out that I was missed. Once again great write and great explanation.

Simple reality of life... we need alone time else we lose the voice within and thus balance too. Enjoyed reading through some of your pieces this morning. :)
