As Deep as she is
She gathers rain from blood soaked clouds and shares shade with a dumpster downtown
Tonight her tears are my amphetamines
Behind a veil of secrecy her makeup drips down both her faces
Cigarette perched between her fingertips
I pierce her reptilian skin at the edge of town in the ghettos darkness
Filling her with water from a puddle as deep as her
