Sun Drop

Water drop in warmth.
Droplet of sunset.
Splash and ripple.
In the dark blue and purple puddles.

The rainbow in the oil,
Ignited in fire.
Sun drops into the water.
Glowing water green.

Bubbles of flame,
Themselves, ember up and up.
Crackling waves splashing.
Calm not rough.

Elemental intercourse.
Without mating purpose.
To hold me deep inside,
Only beginning to penetrate the surface.

To a moment to learn and love.
To love and learn once more.
The sun set into ocean.
Steam turns and pours.

Held comfortably in hands,
Sun dropped gently.
A soft feminine smile in the sky,
Filling the cloudless dark blue and purple empty.

Thankfully on my knees
As the heat rises from the pool.
And the flames lay back in sky.
Drenched and soaking, fire consumed.

Like a morning iris bloom.
Pupil expanding in my sight.
And in our eyes,
Soaked in that ignite.

Super nova stars,
Peering fixated in observation.
They've never witnessed such perfection.
Of our conversations.

Water sweating from the torch.
Radiating wetness.
The moon shall rise again,
And replenish.

Solar submerged.
Bodies pressed between the glass.
Light fragments within my chest.
Reflected back.

My brightened waters.
My calming sky.
My blanket of stars.
My guiding light.

Author's Note
This started with an inspiration of the thought of an opaled water droplet lit up with the colors of fire. It turned and ended up as another write wanting my face sat on.
