I Never Actually Recieved My America.

We are the people!
Both sides,
Yes we are one!

Let the 1% repent,
Less we be done.

We are the nation!
Both sides,
Yes we are one!

But you let a screen spoon feed your mind,
Like we are dumb.

And all it took was tactic.
Cut education, decrease intelligence enough, then have at it.

The rich of us, backhanded.
Even subconsciously, they had to plan it.

You took my flag and i watched you rip it to shreds.
With the pieces one flew new blue, one flew new red.

And I'm standing in the middle with my white flag.
America has turned French.
Well goddamn.

If someone is listening, keep explaining.
They will learn you and what's motivating.

And if anyone ever ignores you, cut them off.
Because shouting at closed ears, is no way to talk.

I see a war among my people on my screens.
Everyday pointing fingers, villainizing.

Then i shut off my phone, turn off my tv, and walk outside.
And go out into my land, among all walks of life.

And i don't run into non-perpetuated.
There's not a terrible amount of people flying hatred.
We're all frustraded, out dated nation.

We can be different and leave each other alone.
And we can argue how we want the rules to benefit me best while in my home.

Our we can rise up to our representative politicians.
And speak with them like human beings, saying, we're tired of these restrictions.
Then we simply sit back and watch if they listened.

Or watch them laugh then clutch the pocketed gold bar.
Then we will see, its not you and me, at odds.
Then let them represent their own side in our own war.
Let them see what our military, fights for.
And divide instead, the congressional doors.
Do you think that then they'd listen if, just once more?
