Yes. Reminds me of a play that was very popular during the 60s and 70s; Trojan Women. In the play, the women with hold their favors till the men quit going to war.
I know what I'm about to say is controversial, but I believe women greatly underestimate their sensual power. If they did, collectively they could change society. Not just by withholding, but also rewarding. Albeit; The Book of Ruth.
