Universal Coder

 
I'm a coder
means I write code and crack them

I didn't ask for this profession
it was a skill I was born with
assigned by the universes
as a secret keeper and intel collector

the spirits whisper and I hear them
they talk in code and verse
the very air of the world is coded
the sun that hangs in the sky is marked
the oceans obey this language

I write what I hear
sometimes it comes forth clear
other times I have to work it
I mean I have to decipher it

I write them all down
not their meaning to me
but coded lest the enemy understand
I'm employed as a deep undercover agent

always in enemy territory
it can be quite frightening to be so deep
you're no longer sure who the true enemy is
