[ Love ] Of Twin Pillars

      
Three things cannot be long hidden:        
The sun, the moon, and the truth.      
~ Buddha      
       
       
And then there is the Fourth:      
       
Love      
       
that often overlooked      
pillar of the Universe      
of which without such      
nothing would come together      
or be sustained with any permanence      
in this impermanent firmament;      
       
a force that can not be undone      
ignored or suppressed, for long      
grown wanting persists in yields      
beckoning cultivation in fields      
of this vast estate of wantingness;      
       
and while temples of union are certain      
to collapse from gravity of concerns      
under insecurely shouldered waits      
       
this occurs when spacing is minimal      
between columns ungrounded        
       
never from a lacking of this Source      
force existing in infinite abundance      
       
From ruination upon landing assailed      
Love will always rise, prevailed      
surely as Sun and Moon in skies      
shine their art upon Truth veiled        
in lies and dark nights of all souls      
twin pillared, standing too close      
together they come apart
