Beautiful Tragedy
You fell for her spirit,
And the way her eyes lit up,
when you walked in the room.
You fell for the melody in her voice,
And the way her eyes danced,
when she laughed for you.
You fell for the way she played,
And the way her lips grew
in a slow, sly smile when she was up to no good.
You fell for her beautiful tragedy,
And how she needed you to see her through,
and it destroyed you.
And the way her eyes lit up,
when you walked in the room.
You fell for the melody in her voice,
And the way her eyes danced,
when she laughed for you.
You fell for the way she played,
And the way her lips grew
in a slow, sly smile when she was up to no good.
You fell for her beautiful tragedy,
And how she needed you to see her through,
and it destroyed you.
