they only shine for a second
they sizzle
they shimmer
they scorch
they turn to ash
and disperse evenly among the floorboards.
life goes on when it doesn't-

I´m kind of repeating myself with comments on your poetry again so here it goes.
You are a teenager, but you write about daily life like an adult, and you have a grasp of life that teenagers shouldn´t have. Your meatphors are top notch, and your understanding of subtext would make chekov shit himself
