A Hero's Dream

I like to stand up and write
I think about the virtues of punishment in life
Vigilantism is my religion
Truth be told if I could I would
And burn this vision with a pen and my word
That I'm just as bad as them?!
I think you're absurd
Because that don't make sense
If they didn't exist
I wouldn't have to defend
So what? Let them walk all over us?
As they rape, murder, and become public torturers?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
I'm tired of hearing about good and evil
The same story told over centuries old
And yet we still strive to be equal
If this is the dawning of the age of awakening
Then why are people still doing the same things?
I walk down the street looking over both shoulders
As I puff the ganja to get closer to Jehovah
And no I am not a witness
I just like to talk about God
Through all aspects of business
See poetry is my weapon
I shape it like fitness
When I recite I form sounds into syntax
To perfect my linguistics
The s**t just hit the fan
We evolve and revolve around the sun like Superman
We gain our strength inside Metatron's cube
We take our place
From the seed to the flower
To the fruit from the tree
Spiritual beings living out human beliefs
So don't hate me for mine
Because I will always protect
Bless those who love and shine divine
And I will die to keep you and this dream alive
