Not Sleepless
People wonder how we manage to look so young. Well, we don't make our whimpering kids sleep anywhere. We give them their own bedroom at some point. But for a long time they are like smelly, drooling teddy bears that cry if you don't hold them. (Or wake up and run through the house!) A combo of irritating, painful and irresistible love.
Nice thing is we don't have to let them sleep with us, kicking and rolling onto our hair ...after a certain point. Because they want to throw themselves into their own version of the "Croods" sleeping pile in front of the T. V. After a Disney and ice cream event. Often someone will drag their carcasses off to a made bed where we advertise that they sleep. Where the pile will re-congeal anyway.
