colors
swirls
abstractions
floating images
friends long gone
lost loves
visit
alive
vibrant
loving
funny
world at peace
the light excoriates
like sandpaper on sunburned flesh
harsh
unforgiving
frigid
loud
in the light
i am blind
friends long gone
loves lost
hide
dead
sedate
hateful
sad
world in turmoil
when I close my eyes
for the last time
the dark will embrace
soft

at peace
