In a vast sea of misogyny dwell a tribe of Amazon warriors. I'm ashamed that my nation abandon the brave Kurdish women who fight injustice for all of us. To them I dedicate this poem.

I feel the same shame in regards to the Kurds, snuggle. It was a heartbreaking betrayal.

Often the world forgets that women take up arms too to defend their homes, their lands, their rights. This piece serves as a reminder of their fighting spirit. Excellent piece sir. In a way I'm a little speechless by this.
