He wasn't one for spilling his guts
formed fully or flowing freely
over brim of coroner's scale
falling in trailing guise of Pome
weighted with dis'ease belated
splattering verse a'tiled floor
until she came along, excavating
song from his cadaverous
existence so cavernous
during painstaking though
painfully slow vivisection
deftly with a scalpel dulled from
circumstance
