Blue-Grey Against Your Sunshine

Blue grey
snowscapes
you learned to
paint gay

By adding the pink of life
in the sunrise
of your winter day

I adore your green eyes
your wide, winning smile

I admire comedic inches
becoming a green mile

As you explore the funny dark
for a tasteful while

Not a mother yet
though you'll be the best I bet

Read my babies off to sleep last night
I felt so proud as I saw how you did right

Few ways for me to make complaints
I see you share both brush and paints

I love you,

Winter Sunshine
