We all know
We die alone
But to know your dying
To know
No family members will be around
No friends will even know
And no tears will be shed
This is
A lonely death
To die in
A nursing home
Amongst others
Who don't have much time
Themselves
No family or friends
And no tears for them
What a dreadful time
With death all around
Knowing that one day
Your time will come
Shed a tear for yourself
The only tear for the person
Who will die
