Battle Ready

Life's a war so prepare for the battle
It begins once you can shake a rattle
Being chattel for those who write on a page
Until you awaken & become filled with rage

Burning sage is said to dispel negative energy
And the evil thoughts of reacting vengefully
Healing thee & providing some needed peace
Even though the war hasn't come to a cease

The beast changed sheets & now wears uniforms
Forcing their will on all those who won't conform
Causing storms in homes without repercussions
Smashing domes with chrome; causing concussions

It's hard to function in a state of conciousness
Where you believe propaganda less and less
Exacerbating stress to levels harder to contain
Seeing things different with the eye of the brain

In order to maintain we must train as we fight
And assist all our allies with the acuity of sight
Might's in numbers to conjure thunder on our foes
It's said that in love & warfare that anything goes
