Chris My Cute Wee Mouse

I have her picture in a locket
she's always in my pocket
its why my pocket smells of cheese
with crumbs of cheese debris

my inside jacket pocket is warm
it keeps her safe and out of harm
she's next to my heart every day
and forever I will keep her this way

she squeaks, she wriggles
she dances, she wiggles
she laughs, she giggles
when tickled she wiggles

the saddest thing is a sad wee mouse
a pocket of sadness becomes her house
but I have the power to make her smile
with Teddy bear hugs done all the while

to make her smile we laugh a lot
and sadness becomes soon forgot
we dance and we sing
fun becomes everything

her smile is cute
her laugh is a hoot
pretty? Oh, so absolute
soft and sweet like fruit

physically she's very far away
but one thing I would like to say
in my heart, I've created a cosy wee house
and in there lives this cute wee mouse
