the limbo point

my wishes were written in notepads  
and not undertaken  
but my life was lived and
 
"its over now"  
 
plum blossom flies  
the valley of Jiuzhaigou  
i am at peace i am alone  
 
the wind is brief  
moves leaves  
reacts to my presence  
 
"i continue to exhale from that shell how queer
i still feel you around me"  
 
the water is hypnotic    
though my greatest comfort  
is of earth  
 
here on a bank  
smoking from a pipe deciding whether to sail  
or walk i let in the scent and ripples and half-quiet as they lull me...  
 
"you keep me going yet you are slowly fading
but you were always the one to set me free"
