Pollyanna-Me
Today seems more objective about yesterday
Yet also quite
as subjective
for the moment
I feel like I'm stuck
in a b-movie
wanting to deeply
rewrite this plot
of tragic insanity
Isolation was not a cure
for my condition
it was a palliative
with dangers
for a
tender pair of
agoraphobes
with each their own
polyianna-modes
of faith in theology
so close in kind
enough to share
the yoke of love
yet not strong enough in
harsh isolation
to shelter all the young
from hawks that fly on media
over
grooming love for
nefarious mysteries
And so here we sit
wondering how to
safely undo
the stain of our
prolonged isolation
and find our own
safety in numbers
Yet also quite
