A Kiss That Shouldn't Happen

I just want to kiss you
The need to burning deep inside
To press my lips against yours
My hands pulling you down
Crushing my lips against yours
My hands releasing and you stay
My hands grip your jacket tightly
Holding you there; In fear? In want?
God, your warmth as you kiss me back
So caught up in that feeling of you
Letting go as you pull me closer
Your act of surrender to us so simple
A deep sigh and your hand slides into my hair
Moving me slowly closer against you
Opening my mouth as you lead us deeper
To let you take us there is brilliantly rushed
Your other hand on my neck, gently
So gently holding me in place
I physically melt against you as we burn
Both of us afraid the other will end it
Too soon, far too soon because
We're both afraid of being hurt again
