Don’t put out the fire
It’s all I have left
Keeping me alive
It burns quietly
In the hope
It’s signal will be seen
Give me the shelter
To grow the seed of love
That climbs any wall
Need my wistful web
To entangle a beautiful heart
Giving my feelings life
It may be a faltering beat
But it has a truth
That lays on my sleeve
