an early lesson programmed, that always sticks around; one reason or another, something to get one down; try to pull away; an effort to stay sound;
for better or for worst, seems like a chance to maybe drown; a brain like an alarm clock; that loudest quiet sound; one's mind can't help but wonder, "how much time I'll be around"
