The Choice Of Warmth
My thumb
probes the reaction
to stifle any chance
that a chill could set,
preferring
the colour in cheek
keeps you in heat
while lips
remain active
in dashes of rhythm
to meet continually
kept beneath these sheets
to savour every possible treat.
