Oh

Oh, how I hate you
Let me count the ways
I hate that you get short
I'm not the cause of your bad day
I hate that you ignore my messages
And only text me to complain
Oh, how I hate the look in your eyes
When there are tears forming in mine
Oh how I hate that mouth of yours
And that stupid warped smirk
Oh, how I hate your hair in my face
And the way you smother me
When you hug me much too tight
But, oh, how much I love you
That you turn to me when you're in trouble
Oh, I love that knowing look in your eyes
That look that's prepared for me to cry
You're arms out stretched and ready
To simply embrace me and comfort me
I love that smile, that smirk that causes
Those quotation marks of joy
Around your beautiful, ever changing eyes
I love the way your hair feels pressed against
My own when you reach down and press
Your forehead against mine, loving me
You always hug me just so perfectly
Crack my ribs baby, you know I love it it tight
When emotions run high I hate all that you are
But my love for you is never too far
For even when I hate you, I still love you
