The animal in me

I got slapped so I snapped.

I took a hit, so I threw a fit.

 You stalled my progression,  so I had to teach you a lesson.  

You laughed at my pain, so I
left you standing in the rain.  

You ignored my affection, so you were no longer the exception.

 I gave you to the best, but you had me beating on my chest.

I prayed for peace, but I found out I was just a lease.  

I became a lion cause you started lying.
