Educated Naive

Idealism aside
poetry is not  
So much change
 
I had silly ideas once
I'm very sheltered  
I've been told
 
My idealism so bold
Not accounting  
for the scandalous  
who fake storyline told
 
Real needs and disaster
Only add to a threatening  
Cacophony  
 
More than any one  
soul can master
 
I want all who read  
to know I let them off the hook
Your ink will need not bleed
in encounters with my book
