Infinity Due
It has been a craggy road
While shouldering a heavy load
I typically just feel the weight
And I sense my hour grows late
I look back and rue the errors
And ponder how the future fairs
Is there light, or is it black?
An abyss, a widened crack
My dagger poised above my heart
But I cannot pierce my world apart
Let death slowly have its way
For now, my friend, I choose to stay.
While shouldering a heavy load
I typically just feel the weight
And I sense my hour grows late
I look back and rue the errors
And ponder how the future fairs
Is there light, or is it black?
An abyss, a widened crack
My dagger poised above my heart
But I cannot pierce my world apart
Let death slowly have its way
For now, my friend, I choose to stay.

I will try, and also try to show up with greater frequency. I miss you all. Thank you darling Brenda, for your kind words and inclusion in your reading list. Depression be damned.

I will make every effort. Having two fractured fingers has slowed me down a bit. So much for excuses. Thank you my friend!

Crow , I am very happy to see you back - really glad. (I must admit I was beginning to panic a bit). Choosing to stay is a prayer and commitment for new and better possibilities - I pray they come your way soon. Josh.

Listen, my crowfly friend, a Thomas with 8 working fingers is better than no Thomas at all lol... does that even make any sense?
😝Aaah now I keep telling you that no one here forgets you whenever you have to be away. We love you, and always will.

Dear Thomas...nah I'm stick'in with Sir Crow. I have indeed missed you my friend. Your uncommon smile and constant camaraderie. I have suffered from depression for years I've come to know it just as life. I know better things await. Look forward my friend, Regrets, hell the past be damned. I too relate too closely to your words. We all benefit by your presence. Pull up a chair and stay awhile. You are now having to resort to my standard typing style hunt & peck. That's right the computer guy/poet never learned touch typing.
