revelations
i said i loved you but i lied
you did not know that’s why i cried
by modest words disqualified
my iceberg base i tried to hide
my lyric lines were filled with vain profusions
i dared not bare my heart’s true revelations
i tried to kiss you but your pride
would not my forceful whims abide
too soon for strange lips to collide
or hearts so fragile to confide
and when i told you of my predilection
you said too soon for such blunt revelations
my genesis of hope resides
a thorn on eden’s mountainside
how soon might i be justified
by faith that cannot be denied
you said one day despite my taut confusion
you would to me bring sweeter revelations

but dwells—if truth be amplified—
in paradise where angels bide
from genesis through all life’s generations
love’s exodus seeks heaven’s revelations

Not giving up hope
when it looks bleak
and the twilight
a bringer of loss
and dreams yet unfold
waiting for the love
i believe will be all

A great masterpiece again, from the master of writes. Learnt a whole new way of writing on some things from this.

I collect "poetry bits" from simple words uttered by passersby or family and friends in conversation. It might be a word or phrase from the Bible, or just a turn of events.

while i disagree on many intellectual thoughts on religion,

You know I mostly just write and post. I have no idea whether anyone will read my poems but when someone does, I am gratified to share my expressive potential, especially if I can lift someone's spirits.

My spiritual perspective is based solely on the Holy Bible. Neither will I add to, or subtract from, it (see Deut. 12:32 and Rev. 22:18, 19), in accordance with God's warning to those who would do so.
YOUR heart is pure gold, Tallen; you are faith in action. Make certain that that faith comes from the solid base of the Word of God. While faith without works is van (James 2:20), works cannot save anyone (Eph. 2:8, 9).
