Battle Fatigued

Battle fatigued but refuse to drop to my knees
Got to keep fighting 'cause freedom ain't free
Life ain't a breeze but it freezes with its wind
Cold incessantly but I'm determined to win

I'm starting to send dishonorable discharges
Giving invoices called statements of charges
For those barages that've damaged my heart
Made them pay those when I chose to depart

Who's at fault is the part that's subjective
Introspection is key in being self reflective
Irrespective of what everyone else thinks
I'm pulling myself away before I inevitably sink
