Toxic
It’s toxic
A caustic feeling
That eats into the heart
Like acid
Sweet words cover the intention
It’s a knife edge
Only a matter of time
Before that destructive fall
An innocent smile
Hides the fires of hate lurking
A cruel lesson is coming
Watch for the first hit
It promises much
Never delivers
You imagine the heaven
Only to discover hell
Love should come with a government warning
Labelled as lethal
Point out the dangers
So minimise the risk to health

I agree with you... love is very toxic,,, it is an evil we cant rid ourselves of because it is a necessary evil.... without love we will only hate everyone we come across... but what is love without hate???
