Left Behind

These tears have stained my mothers face,
God has taken my brothers hand and walked with him to a far away place,
A soul much too pure for a place like earth,
Memories of him break me for all I am worth,
We all have a mission and he already did what he came to do,
My only wish is you could have taken me on this journey with you,
With a pain in our hearts you had to leave us behind,
This family has existed ever since stuck in rewind,
The place he sits now is bright white and full of love,
God needed him back to restore glory in the nursery up above,
The hole you have left in our lives will never be filled,
Four years old but a mind so strong willed,
I never got to tell you but I hope you understood,
You showed me a greater love than anyone else in this life ever could,
Beautiful boy I admire you still,
I loved you then, now and I always will.
