the last time

you couldn’t stand it
my ability to deny you dumbfounded you
but, what did you expect?
this was the second time you put me second
i mean, fool me once shame on you, but fool me twice shame on me, right?
rub it in my face
“you’ll probably meet her, shes apart of the team”
you just have to break my heart everytime
i can still smell you and it makes me reminisce
didn’t i say no?
“[], move”
“just one last time”
“no”
“this is the last time we can do this, because i don’t know if you know i have a girlfriend”
“[], stop”
“i’m sorry”
when i wanted you to pick me, when you had the option: me or her, it’s always been her.
so, how come when i pick me you had to insert yourself?
because you can’t stand me
you’re upset with me, you miss me, you hate me and you love me, so you hurt me
over
and over
and over again.
but like you said, “this is the last time we can do this”.
