Heavenly Journey

Where do I go to
I know not where
A voice up ahead saying
"Follow me hither"
An angelic lady
In a soft, soothing tone
Leads me down a path
Leaving my body there, alone
A path that winds slowly
Through countryside hills
With the smell of jacaranda
And sweet daffodils
Where rabbits and deer
Run aimlessly free
Escorting us onward
My angel and me
Big gates of gold
Are seen up ahead
Entry to a new place
Proof my Earth life was dead
My angel smiled at me and said
"Walk on through"
"Yes, this is Heaven.
God welcomes you
This is a place
Of tranquility and love
Where we watch over our people
From here, up above."
