To pinball between hurt and rapture
- love and lust
it becomes clear that my travels
I can't always trust
Each spectrum holds value
in heart and in flesh,
but the roulette spin of the given
sometimes plays like a test
A struggle to distinguish
what wave will be offered;
whatever the move
I guess it all must be honoured

Ugh. I wish I didn't identify with this so much. It's mirrored to my own self reflection. Oh, things we weave knowing the inevitable of its eventual sting! Ouch! 💙

Sorry to hear that you too could relate to this pinball effect. At least, it would be more palpable if it weighed more heavily to the opposite of hurt. Don't like feeling wounded so much. Hell, I'd even settle for a balanced scale
