From Spring to Fall
From Spring to Fall
(free lance poem)
As I observe the seasons pass
and blossom as I grow old.
I have come to see the world as more than a mass,
an orb with countless mysteries untold.
The world goes around in a graceful swing,
and the sun breaks the horizon another day.
The sparrow wakes and begins to sing
the heartfelt song of early May.
I think about the seasons' passing
and have come to conclude,
That spring is like an inhalation
and the fall is like an exhalation.
the spring brings in a fresh clean feel
that glides into the summers buzzing heat.
The fall breaths out an exciting chill
the slides down into the blustering winter snow.
