Dawn's Blanket

With you
I realise how bad it is being alone
That gift...

Your precious time
A crutch to pick me up
As I size down the black dog,
Lone wolf
You, mate, wait in the shadows

Blinded by binding lightening
Connections, hand-in-hand
Wanderlust; found love
There to catch me when I fall

You are welcome sight
To tired, battle-weary eyes
You are the first light of dawn
After fighting tears of the longest night
