Marry Me

Life can be short, so why waste anymore time
Already know that I want you forever as mines
What I'm trying to convey to you today baby
On bended knee, I'm asking will you marry me

I want us to be together forever plus a day
Wherever you are is where I desire to parlay
We will portray the epitome of what love is
And when the time is right we'll have some kids

I've bid my heart in the pot & I'm going all in
Ready to spend eternity with my best friend
Let's begin a love affair of epic proportions
After reciting vows that express our devotion

Your position will be the pole above all others
Never will it be taken over by any another
Others thinking they own it are just being foolish
If I had a genie, I'd only ask it for one wish

I'd wish for you, & if reincarnated, I'd do it again
So that way our union wouldn't come to an end
Lend me your left hand to place this ring upon
Spend each day with me admiring the rising Sun
