Such a melancholy poem falling as summer leaves in Autumn, Tallen.  I like the format very much, makes it easy to digest.   I also like the fourth stanza - very powerful imagery there.

Just remember forgiveness isn't about them; it's about you, so that you can move forward.  Sever anything that doesn't serve your higher purpose.  Many never apologize because they don't perceive having done anything wrong.  We all evolve at our own pace.

I WILL make new friends but it always seems to take me longer to get over the ones leaving.

I am very sad about it myself.  Particularly HF.  He was such a positive presence.  I hope he will return someday. He was one that definitely belonged here.

I remember when HF was a newbie and i bugged the daylights outta him and he showed me kindness
anyways.

He made me laugh and smile and i loved that about him.

& OMG!  He had some razor sharp wit in many of his spills.

Yeah, he (among many others i already miss) will be missed.

I’ve felt the melancholy, too, Tallen.  I feel like had just really started to get to know a few of them.  

This is a gorgeous write.  I’m in a down cycle at the moment so I’m having difficulty with coming up with words, but I agree with Ahavarti.  Solid write.

You don't have to always come up with the
" right " words.
Many times it's a feel of words we resonate
with.

The greatest thing of fall is the change it brings to all living things. We will lose the leaves from the trees,but in the spring they are renewed. Kinda like great new friends. I believe you are a valuable and good person. Anyone would have a treasure in hand to be considered one of your friends. ✌

I remember that game......You wanted to Castle Queenside and i walked You through it and there came a time where You made a move i i said NO way You can make that move and asked You to show me a photo of Your position and i was in amazement as You'd castled Kingside!  
 
You caused me to smile that day and caused me to understand You .........more.  
   
i'm OK, Em.  Hallucinating more than what is a norm for me but combatting it and attempting to get Veteran's medical help with it.  
   
You (and MS) don't have to gift me anything; as long as i know You and Blake are happy and well that is gift enough for me.

It can and often does apply to real life, as well, but in real life this is an ever present and ongoing progression of changes.

Such beautiful, although bittersweet, mixed with melancholy expressions. I've made some apologies myself in which I didn't feel completely to blame, but I heard crickets.. those fucking crickets hurt. I put my ego down to save relationships, but they can't theirs. Sigh!

As for our family here crumbling & disappearing, it has been especially hard on me. I'm an introvert except with certain  people in the virtual realm. When they leave, it's like a tiny death. Plus the drama stuff was least expected here; at home! I've especially learned not to look at our forums , I see so much bickering, it's gag worthy...🖤
