"17 divided by 28"

'point six something. point sixty-one?'

I'm not really sure how this game got started.
I think she was just playing with the calculator on her or phone or something.
She probably remembered me saying how much I hated math but was sort of good at it.
I've said that a lot to way to many people.

"Hey! Look at you! Try...."
'ugh i'm hungry.'
"3650 divided by 7"
'five-hundred and twenty one or something. is there a water fountain near by?'
"Wait. How did you get that so fast?"
'Its the same as weeks in a year. fifty two. you just move the decimal somewhere.'
"oh...hmm"

She must have found service and started texting someone.
'Ugh, I hate my hands.'
I put them in my pockets and tilted my head back.
A dog barked, I turned and noticed that there weren't any birds chirping.
I'm noticing things again. For once it didn't feel so daunting.
She never acknowledged my question about the water fountain....
'blahhhhhhh'

"Okay! Try...."
'BLAHHHHH'
No more service I guess.
I closed my eyes and kept answering.

"What's your favorite place?"
'huh?'
"Your favorite place."
'that's not a math question.'
"That's not a answer either."
'haven't we gone over this? I swear I wrote about this already...'
"Writing later. Answer now!"
'i think you said the exact same thing.'
"HAROLD!"

'....um...Flagstaff is nice. outside of Omaha seems comfortable. Norfolk maybe. I really liked the Sans in California but they're no place for me....I cant remember if I still get nosebleeds in Idaho and Montana....when was the last time I had a nose bleed?....hmm'
"You're still not answering...again..."
'maybe if i ever make it up to Toronto?'

She sighed,
"Fine. Toronto it is!"
'what?'
"Nothing! Now then....you said you wrote about me?"
'...'
